Noor Esam Al-Khateeb

Iraqi Noor Esam Al-Khateeb is a Women Protection and Empowerment (WPE) Senior Manager- Quality Assurance and Partnership, working with the International Rescue Committee (IRC). With 8 years of experience working in the humanitarian field in Iraq, her career has focused mainly on gender equality, gender-based violence, protection of women, and empowerment programmes. In her role, Al-Khateeb has actively supported the women-led organisations and civil society organisations to promote women’s inclusion in decision-making and build the technical and organizational skills to participate in peacebuilding processes. Al-Khateeb is passionate about women’s rights and always advocates for women’s equality.
