

Elizabeth Odondi is a dedicated human rights lawyer, policy researcher and intersectional feminist residing in Kenya. She works to bridge local efforts to enhance women’s socio-economic rights with broader initiatives aimed at reshaping African economies through legislative gender reform and improved gender data.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. With a strong foundation in social justice, feminism and gender equity, she co-founded the Social Justice League, which focuses on eradicating gender-based violence, promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights, improving access to justice, and empowering women in leadership through projects such as the “Young Women in Politics: 50/50 campaign”, supported in 2024 by the German Federal Foreign Office through ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen)'s zivik Funding Programme.
